At Meadows Retreat Lodge Park, you will find everything you need for a completely relaxing break: Our luxury lodges for sale have generous plots and bespoke decking and there is even space to install a hot tub! Each plot has private parking for 2 vehicles, and we have an onsite reception to help you out with any questions you may have.

Beautiful landscaping and residential specification

Meadows Retreat Lodge Park is set in landscaped grounds for a welcoming atmosphere, peace and tranquillity and spectacular views all year round. Our luxury lodges for sale in Cumbria are manufactured to residential specifications. We are open 365 days per year! You can enjoy the winter seasons, including Christmas and New Year, tucked away in your holiday home.

Lodges and some static caravans are built to a residential build specification BS 3632. These units have extra insulation in the walls, flooring and roof, as well as double glazing, and can be used all year-round. The residential specification offers genuinely superior park homes and lodges with a significant improvement in terms of energy efficiency and overall standard.

Our park, located amidst scenic landscapes in the Lake District, has exclusive views over all the surrounding areas, including the majestic Skiddaw mountain and local forests.

Western Lakeland is a land of breath-taking contrasts. Meadows Retreat Lodge Park is set in a spectacular backdrop of mountains, valleys and lakes, with stunning views of Skiddaw, the sixth highest and oldest mountain in England. There are endless activities and events in the Lake District, and Meadows Retreat Lodge Park is open all year round, so you can enjoy this beautiful region in all seasons.

Discover a rich heritage and history

Our holiday homes and lodges for sale are in West Cumbria-known for its rich history of Victorian industrial towns and seaside resorts, the Cumbrian Coast has a diverse history which can be discovered in museums and heritage centres throughout the area. Seaside resorts such as Seascale, St Bees, Allonby, and Silloth have fine beaches and cater well for visitors, tourists and holiday makers.

With with secluded beaches, tranquil lakes and rugged mountains, the Western Lake District is unique. Human settlement began in the Lake District at least 5,000 years ago, Celts, Romans, Angles and Vikings settled among the lakes. Industries including, mining, quarrying, steelmaking, textiles and railways had a massive impact over the centuries.

The Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

The Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) has been relatively unchanged since becoming a designated area in 1964. The area covers most of the English Solway Firth coastline from Rockcliffe to Maryport. There are endless places to explore and discover the history and the people who made it. Known for its abundant wildlife, the Solway attracts birdwatchers all year round, especially migratory waders and wildfowl.
